Des Moines Roosevelt has a new head football coach this year, but it’s a face that has been around a while. Ernst Brun was a starting tight end at Iowa State a decade ago. The Georgia native stayed in central Iowa, training athletes and coaching gymnastics among other sports before ultimately landing at Roosevelt. This past offseason, he was promoted from offensive coordinator to head coach.
